When five young outsiders on community service get caught in a strange storm they quickly discover that they have developed superpowers. This comedy series shows the youngsters as they come to terms with their new powers. Kelly (Lauren Socha), who gets judged her on her chavvy appearance, gains the ability to hear peoples' thoughts; shy Simon (Iwan Rheon) turns invisible whenever he is ignored; Curtis (Nathan Stewart Jarrett), who is filled with remorse for his crime, turns back time when he feels regret; and anyone who touches the beautiful Alisha (Antonia Thomas) falls in lust with her. Only Nathan (Robert Sheehan) has been left out, much to his annoyance. After their community service minder Tony attacks them, the gang kill him. But realising the authorities would never believe their story, they decide to hide the body...
At its height, Misfits was averaging 1.5m across a series (S3) with a 17.3% share of 16-34s. Series 3 also peaked with Misfits’ highest audience ever of1.8m. For Misfits’ slot (2011), E4 brought in the highest share of Individuals for all Digital channels and the 5th highest share overall.
